- The Communist Party of the United States was established in Chicago in 1919 by left-wing Socialist Party members who were inspired by the Bolshevik revolution.
- The greatest number of Communist Party recruits came from the section on Chicago’s South Side that embraced the Black Belt and Packingtown - right near Dolton where Prevost grew up.
- Dolton (where Pope grew up) was about 10 miles south Packingtown - the hot epicenter of American Communism

I just heard "First American Pope" on a restaurant TV then started a thread because nobody had done it yet. Anything deemed good seems to have a 'Trump Wins' team member crowing about it. They may be serious about it and that's fine by me.
