CNN created the red and blue election maps..  The divisive dysfunctionality has only been amplified.

News is on demand now.  Everyone's their own Walter Cronkite.

CNN didn't do that at all.
They mimicked what was already out there.
At most they helped to make it more commonplace because each network in about year 2000 kind of did their own thing.
