People that apply today's "Butthurt Progressive Offense at Every Opportunity" will never find a good part of world history. Much less USA (the most evil nation ever).
That jealous prick in Wisconsin is a good example of what is considered a "proper response" to his personal angst these days.
People are fed an endless diet of complete **** from a non-stop treadmill of talking heads, negative assholes, depressing outlooks (that will eventually become self-fulfilling prophesies), etc.
So, an impulse-control deficient, annoyed moron had to insert his useless, miserable life into others' lives.
More negativity. And the treadmill of talking heads revel in it.
