I am trying really hard to understand that - and I don't consider such an obvious question a "gotcha." It's a question that just self-presents, based on trying to follow the logic.
Fallible humans that work for a living for fallible humans that are following illogical protocols.
What they need me to do is not be yet another impediment and I am willing to do that.
For all anyone knows it's a useless vaccine against a non-dangerous disease.
That's as plausible as any other statistic I'v seen so far.
