Maybe the smartasses should read it, then maybe they'd learn something for a change. Some people are so cowardly that they they won't read or hear any view that challenge their position because that makes them feel uncomfortable. Well guess what? If your political and/or religious belief system is so fragile that all it takes for it to fall apart is maybe read or listen to a new perspective or a differing viewpoint or a different view/opinion, maybe your belief system deserved to die because it was never built on solid fondations. A house must be built on solid foundation if it is to last. The same principle applies to man, otherwise he too will sink back into the soft ground and becomes swallowed up by the world of illusion. Some of us are disillusioned and we are open to other views and perspectives because we are sick and tired of echo chambers. People need to broaden their minds and listen to a variety of political and/or religious beliefs instead of locking themselves up in an echo chamber where anyone who questions or challenge the status quo is treated like a leper, demonized, bullied and outcasted. Also having discussions about a variety of viewpoints, perspectives and opinions keep the conversation going instead of shutting down conversation and dialogue with petty insults, mean, nasty remarks and mockery like some radical-Right cowards have done to me on this forum (especially when I adressed things like LGBT rights and reproductive freedom for women).
