I'm fed up with pervasive anti-atheist prejudice and hate crimes against Atheists (part 2)
Also, the term "good Samaritan" is just a metaphor, and it virtually never refers to people who actually come from Samaria (a region which today exists in the disputed West Bank of the Jordan), so the good Samaritan in Jesus' parabole who saved the injured man and paid for his medical care can be an Atheist (or a person of any religion, background, race, etc), I have had Atheist friends all my life and they have treated me better than Conservative "Christians", they're also more christlike than Conservative "Christians".
I would rather see a compassionate and kind-hearted Atheist as president or prime minister of the country than a crackpot Conservative "Christian" hellbent on taking away the basic civil rights of women and minorities, hellbent on doing away with separation of "church" and state and implementing a radical-Right theocracy.
Just like Atheist Kyle Kulinsky would rather see a religious humanist (and there are Christian Humanists out there, Humanist simply means someone who cares about the development, well-being and future of mankind and humanity, Jesus who is very God Himself was very much pro-humanity Himself) than a non-humanist Atheist in power:

A humanist person would improve the lives of other people as opposed to a non-humanist person, it really doesn't matter if said humanist person is a Theist or an Atheist, this person would improve the lives of other human beings and that's all that matters in the grand scheme of things, that's what's God wants and that's what anyone with half a brain should want.
It's **** awful and sickening to see Atheists subjected to such horrific abuse and inhumane treatment (and this is just a few examples):

This is **** up. We cannot tolerate violence, hate crime, abuse, bullying and discrimination against Atheists and we should all be speaking out against this.
This is 2024 and people should know better than to be so **** intolerant of people who don't necessarily share their exact same beliefs, interpretation of their faith, political and/or religious affiliations, etc. Conservatives need to put this through their freaking thick skulls: religious freedom simply means you're free to believe what you want and to practice your faith the way you want in the privacy of your home, it doesn't mean you get to force your beliefs into law and that you get to take away other people's rights and it certainly doesn't mean that you get to assault, beat up, mistreat, abuse and dicriminate people who disagree with you.
But Conservatives don't seem to get that (they even go as far as to blame Atheists for mass shootings and train wrecks and virtually anything and everything under the sun, just like they do to LGBT people which is wrong and **** up).
And this is one of many reasons why Conservatives are becoming more lonely and their children and grandchildren don't want to be around them for Christmas and other holidays:
