I'm fed up with pervasive anti-atheist prejudice and hate crimes against Atheists (part 3)
Conservatives need to fix themselves, if they refuse to live in society with people who are different from them, people who disagree with them, people who are not Conservative or people who don't share their interpretation of the bible then they can go live on some freaking deserted island anc just check out of society, or they can face the fact that the overwhelming majority of people, including the overwhelming majority of Christians, will not hesitate to revolt against the Conservative party should they try to take our first amendment rights away and attempt to implement a radical-Right theocracy.
No one in their right mind want to live in a world where women, minorities and non-religious people have no right, are subjected to the worst atrocities and dehumanization, and anyone who disagree with the Conservatives' interpretation(s) of the bible is jailed/tortured/murdered/burned at the Stake, etc.
Atheists should have the same right as everyone else. Atheists who didn't commit violent crimes and/or frauds and who don't have some severe mental illness (and there should be an investigation by objective and impartial people) should be allowed to run for office. Atheists should not be discriminated against in housing, education, employment and healthcare. Atheists should not be treated differently. Atheists are PEOPLE too and deserve to be treated as such, people who deny the full humanity of Atheists should be confronted and called out on their ****.
We need separation of "church" and state, freedom of and from religion, and first amendment rights for all. First amendment rights for all, a cause worth fighting and dying for, is the only thing that protect us from a radical-Right theocracy and being jailed/tortured/murdered/burned at the stake by some crackpot Conservative "Christians" just because we disagree with their interpretation of the bible. This is 2024 and this insanity has to stop.
