It's because of things like this that no one (including not just the people in the Star Wars communities but also George Lucas himself as well as Mark Hamill and the cast) takes Disney Star wars seriously...

This is why like 98% of the Star Wars community members, myself included, much prefer the old expanded universe to the Disney crap new "canon". The old expanded universe novels and comics are a trillion times better than the **** and lame Disney crap new "canon" sequel movies, TV series, and animes. I know a couple people who told me that when Disney released a new Star Wars movie, TV show or anime, they didn't bother to watch it and instead they binge read a dozen or so old expanded universe novels because it's so much better than the Disney crap "new" canon. "Heir to the Empire", "Dark force rising" and "The last command" is a great old expanded universe trilogy that was written by Timothy Zahn and it's a far better sequel to "Return of the Jedi" than the Disney crap "new canon" sequel trilogy with Mary Sue Rey and Gary Stu Kylo. And this old expanded universe book trilogy are some of the most insanely popular Star Wars books and they sold millions of copies.

What's sad is that Timothy Zahn sold out to Disney and became a sell-out. The books he wrote for the Disney crap new "canon" are not worth reading (only his old expanded universe novels are worth reading) and it has a completely different version of Thrawn that's very far removed from the original Thrawn, his original name and place of birth were changed overnight for no damn reason, and in the stupid "clone wars" anime they made him into a one-dimensional villain and a complete moron who was defeated by a bunch of **** space whales. This is one of the reasons some of us hate Disney.
