Then they came for the Palestinians and the Muslims
And I did not speak out
Because I was not Palestinian or Muslim.
Then they came for the gay, bi and trans people
And I did not speak out
Because I was not gay, bi or trans.
Then they came for the journalists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a journalist.
Then they came for the Christians
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Christian.
Then they came for the Buddhists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Buddhist.
Then they came for the Atheists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not an Atheist.
Then they came for me
And there was no one left to speak out for me.
