I spent 2 and a half years at Suwon... Most nights there were spent in Soju oblivion.. The Bars that catered to us made this swill called Jungle Juice... It was fruit punch with Soju, Peach Oscar and some other ****.. I could have rode in 100 of them in Korea but I was drunk...the air field was right next to my compound but I spent all my free time drinking.
I had a friend (Mad Max / RIP) who was a civil employee chopper liaison with the GOV in Vietnam.
He would go back and forth every 3 months...he told me he had a great. He went on one unauthorized mission....they gave him a M-16 but no ammo. I guess if he needed it he could have found it.
