If you want to reserve your condemnation & judgement for those who choose that way out, when there were real options available that would have helped them seek an alternative solution --- fine... There certainly are numerous means of successful treatments for depression & mental health issues...
But you really have no right to judge those facing painful, incapacitating, terminal illnesses who choose to leave this life on their own terms.. For them, it is not a temporary problem... When all that remains is the suffering, I understand someone taking what they believe to be the more dignified way out... I know such a person.. He was a friend who was diagnosed with ALS in his late 30s.. He took his own life before entering the final stages of the disease..
