One of the main reasons the other Arab / Muslim countries in the region aren't looking to take in large numbers of Palestinian refugees is because it's been done before in Jordan & Lebanon, and the results were deadly and disastrous..

There were also close to 500,000 Palestinian refugees in Syria --- many of their settlements were dismantled and people chased out or displaced after they involved themselves in the Syrian Civil Uprisings of 2011, supporting the opposition to the Bashar Assad regime..
