The seeds of WW2 were sewn at the end of WW1 with the Treaty of Versailles -- where along with its surrender, Germany was ordered to pay enormous War Reparations, lose Territory, Disarm, and surrender all their overseas Colonies... They were reduced to being one of the poorest country's in Europe and were completely humiliated... The German people were resentful & angered, which created the conditions for the rise of Hitler's Nationalist movement...
