This kid was as outwardly gay as it gets with the lisping and the exaggerated gestures and poses.
The only place we had a "vacancy" was with the TRUCK REPAIR PLATOON ON THE 2ND FLOOR.
I crossed my fingers and wished for luck that the guys upstairs would at least be civil and leave this guy alone.
I had very little time left to serve Uncle Sugar and didn't need the extra work or aggravation of any "incidents".
Some time later someone came rushing in from outside the barracks and told me I needed to go up to the 2nd floor ASAP...!!
I ran up the stairs, burst into the room that I just assigned the Gay Negro to and the first thing I saw was a few TRUCK REPAIR BOYS HANGING ONTO A MATTRESS THAT WAS 3/4 OF THE WAY HANGING OUT THE WINDOW. I COULD HEAR THE POOR GAY NEGRO SCREAMING FOR HIS LIFE ON THE OTHER END OF THE MATRESS.......
I CALMLY ASKED "THE GUYS" TO PLEASE GIVE ME A **** BREAK AND JUST PULL THE NEGRO BACK IN.
I don't remember if I found the Negro a "NEW TEMPORARY HOME" IN THE BARRACKS or whatever became of him after that .
I was never asked about this by my superiors.
Barracks life in Germany 1979 was like ANIMAL HOUSE..I **** YOU NOT.
In the early to mid-70s serving with Uncle sugars cruise lines, suspected *** were clumsy and consistently fell down ladders.
