One idea I had at a time was starting a community fabrication shop. Like a Co-Op Wood Shop.. Teach kids to make stuff. Even the Ahmish have child sex trafficking though.
Hope the planting is going well.. At least your fertilizer may already be in stock at pre war prices.
Don't use fertilizer or chemicals on the garden.....read the Organic Gardener....long read but you will know more than most people when you do it.
or.....for a short lesson.....let the dog take a **** on the grass....watch what happens over a two or three period to the grass where the dog ****.
Cows **** to grow more grass.....I dump cow **** on the garden along with a pile of compost as big as an UPS truck on the garden every year
don't till or worry about weeds either
