Key FactsMSNBC logged an average of 632,000 primetime viewers for the week ending Nov. 24, compared to 1.34 million for the week ending Nov. 3—the last full week before the election. CNN slid from 754,000 to 398,000 over the same period. While it’s not unusual for news networks to lose viewership when major news events like elections end, right-leaning Fox News has largely retained its audience from before the election, dropping from 2.67 million to 2.63 million over that time period.
