Naming an alternate slate of electors isn't a crime. You could do it tonight with your buddies should you desire. If they are never called on by the party to submit binding votes, there cannot possibly be a crime. Formation of groups and clubs is a constitutionally protected activity. Michigan is leveraging the felony counts to get to the ones that hatched the plan. They'll go right up the chain and don't be surprised if Michigan files charges against trump.
