There is no contradiction. I believe gender affirming care is vile child abuse. The whole concept is based on the lie one can be born in the wrong sexed body and the further lie that we are medically able to change someone's sex. Currently it's seen as a popular and accepted treatment for children claiming gender dysphoria. Until that is changed parents have a right to pursue legal medical treatment.
