They weren't asking for a steel curtain. They asked for no more dead Russian civilians in Eastern Ukraine and no nato in their back yard.. it's not much to ask people not be murdered for their ethnicity and nato keep it's pit bull out of Ukraine. Our actions have just proven the validity of Russians concerns. We would rather spend countless billions of dollars killing Russians than stop literal nazis from killing innocent people and prohibit nato membership.
