There was no rebellion against the constitution. There was a bunch of angry and unarmed Trump supporters who wanted to petition congress for a redress of grievances. Peaceful civil disobedience was the plan, end ot story. Some individuals committed violence and they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Most took guided tours and remained out of private areas.
