Thousands of arrests, most were not charged with serious crimes. Court houses were attacked, federal business and proceedings were interrupted for weeks on end. Jan 6th was an idiotic riot. A photo op engineered to soil the Republican Party as a whole. An event to give evidence to the hollow claims civil unrest was coming from right wing fanatics. They were hoping for more violence but already set the narrative.
