Sweden absolutely shares in the "land of the midnight sun" phenomenon, but because the Arctic Circle only cuts through the very northern tip of the country, its midnight sun is localized to Lapland. In contrast, vast portions of Alaska and Siberia sit much deeper within the Arctic Circle, giving them more extensive 24-hour sunlight coverage.
