Dudette, you tried and you failed.  I watched that game when it was played.  I was stationed in AK and going for England.



 

And I watched the 1966 final on TV in germany...




The point being that Argentina is STILL tainted by that event, 40 years later...most people wouldn't remember who they played.

 

You only watch major tournaments.  You don't watch the qualifiers.  You don't watch the pros each week.  You tune in for the WC and MAYBE the EUROs.

Not enough to keep up with it.  As I said, you failed.
