You have said it is idiotic but you have not demonstrated why it is idiotic.
Facts:

Gore won NM in 2020 by 367 or so votes.

NJ, a democrat state, ADMITS they had over 6,000 illegals registered to vote.

Of those, NJ admits over 400 voted.

400 illegal votes in a close election can change the true outcome.

You stand?
