That's a question, not a rule.

It is also an illustration of your commitment to the truth of the matter.

You were told to avert your eyes, and given a set of flimsy reasons....the very reasons you continue to give for averting your eyes.

 

It is not just a question, particularly when you already know the answer.

The question is used to point out that those that did not watch it can not possibly understand what was going on.  So that rule applies to you and FOX.
