That's a bit of a stretch even though the term has probably been used here. There is surely a wide swath of the population that in their general attitude towards " Government", believes it's impossible to spend 44 years in that cesspool called DC. and come out being sqeeky clean! 44 years of backroom deals, late night powwows with a little whiskey, scheming, scheming, scheming! I suppose there are people who think 100% of the time Joe Biden only had their best interest in mind, pretty sure that's where the phrase " blissfully ingnorant" came from.
