I'm not sure I believe that Medicaid expansion reduces costs for everyone.
Medicare doesn't cover the cost of services and Medicaid covers even less.
Medicaid reimbursement rates are set by each state and can be a percentage of Medicare rates, market assessments, or relative value scales. In general, Medicaid rates are lower, often around 78% of Medicare rates. 

The amount of people on Medicaid is staggering.
January 2025, a total of 78.4 million people were enrolled in Medicaid and CHIP, the Children's Health Insurance Program, in the 50 states and the District of Columbia. This included 71.2 million people in Medicaid and 7.3 million in CHIP. About one in five Americans relies on Medicaid for their health care. 

Everyone else magically pays less. ****!
