Maybe only 5-10% of option traders end up making money. The time decay will turn your pile of money to zero. It took me about 18 months to loose $50k a little over 20 years ago. If you insist, keep this in mind. Hedge your bets and if you do end up "in the money", take it!!!
It won't be the big win you wanted but at least that trade ends up being a winner.
The wife and I are coming to Vegas in a couple of weeks to drop $6-7k, never know how that will turn out but for sure it will be funner than losing money trading options.
Buy your wife the house!
