It doesn't bother me as much cause our household income has gone down considerably so we are not footing the bill as much.
Two decades in $150k-225k range kind of hit my bitch button on taxes. That ended 5 years ago.
I still voted against raising taxes on the $1 mil crowd here in Colorado. The 4.4% flat tax on income suits me just fine. The Democrats said I would save $200 a year, and left the door open for future tax increases. **** that!
