Just one of the total **** -ups we saw at the hospital at the beginning of Covid:
Protocol for FLU prior to Covid:
Isolation Gown and face mask before entering room, those two items removed before leaving room and placed in container.
Protocol for COVID:
Isolation Gown and face mask before entering room, leave room and remove isolation gown and deposit in container OUTSIDE the room, wear that filthy **** mask the rest of the day!
This is just one example of the people in charge really making bad decisions and causing us to loose any faith in their ability to keep hospital staff safe. Ten months later the vaccine came out, our trust by that point was completely blown.
It was easier to just retire 5 years early and not have to deal with the mounting pressure to get jabbed (for the Wife). **** were wearing their vaccination status like a merit badge, Wife wore a different color badge denoting not vaccinated, lot of pressure from employees.
About 8 months later the Wife would have lost her job, it all worked out for us, Covid pushed the value of our home up quite a bit, got a quarter million more than I thought it was worth.
