It's not about humor as much as it is about being strong. We are able to control our emotions when encountering things that we may find offensive. You can't. Your emotions control you, whereas we are in control of our emotions. We know that society is under no obligation to listen or even care about how we feel. You on the other hand, genuinely believe that society has an obligation to drop everything they are doing and listen to, not only listen to your grievances, but that they should do something about it.
No, Snowflake, you aren't listening to the students. If they don't think it is funny; then it isn't funny. You can't MAKE them laugh at your outdated humor. Walk up to some old guys and call them ladies, and they will laugh.
I hear young people laughing at things that I don't understand, but this kind of humor isn't meant for me.
