It is amazing. One of the biggest problems in our world (besides Google), is folks being unwilling to admit that they have been wrong. Once they receive that first spark of cognitive dissonance, instead of taking the opportunity to consider the veracity of their prior beliefs compared to what they have just discovered, they instead look the other way and continue to defend their indefensible position.
