prices of basic foods in usa have more than doubled

It was expanded to include Whites too . . . and they changed the way they call it, of course !
It has just been modernized !
While before blacks were paid with food and water . . . now skin color does not matter anymore and slaves are given an allowance to buy the food of their choice (within restricted, permitted limits) and pay for their housing (also within restricted, permitted limits) !
Slavery is now called "the work force" !

With the invasion of all kind of races . . . Chinese, Indians, South Americans, Italians, Irish, Germans, Spanish and all the rest . . . there's no way black slavery would survive !
IT WAS DOOMED !
Just like the musket of yore !
