WHAT DID CNN DO WRONG UNDER AMERICAN LAW, "CONS?"

For any who are not hysterical, the reason my thread title says, "under American law" is that my complaint is with American law.
I believe that multi-national corporations should be punished for malpractice.
One of my detractors in this thread has framed my use of that phrase as having a wonkish, sneaky purpose - and then went on to practice wonkery. It had no such purpose. The inclusion of the phrase IS my complaint - that corporations are immune from rules.
Spanners are not. Corporations are - not spammers, not in a peanut gallery thread.
