The fact that 90% of what hollywood produces is dreck isn't problematic. First, there is a market for dreck, and filling that market makes jobs, Second, 90% of EVERYTHING is dreck - nature of the planet. Finally, if hollywood could bat a thousand, what they do would be easy and we would do it for ourselves.
I have enormously enjoyed watching films over my lifetime. I am sorry to see Hollywood going to ****. I hope they pull their heads out. But I do have to admit, they've been a steaming bowl of **** for a long damned time, and it just might be better for america if the whole damned thing got flushed down the toilet.

Second, I agree. It would be better for America if Hollywood was flushed down the toilet. I can't figure out why they suck so bad. Their remakes are ****. They can't come up with anything original...which means BV would fit in quite well in Hollywood. It's odd, because there are literally hundreds of thousands of fantastic books written...and Hollywood can't find one good story to create a good film out of? Pathetic.
