What I've noticed of late in advertising is that all the couples are either bi-racial or gay. The bi-racial couples are almost always black guy/white girl, and the gay couples are almost always two guys.MackTheFinger » 09 Feb 2023, 7:31 pm » wrote: ↑ .
I am all for racial equality in everything...American.
BUT the only time I see a White man in a advertisemet now days...he is in handcuffs or is the stupid one.

If the ad has a group of friends hanging out, there is almost always one asian and one or two black folks and a lone white girl in the mix. If there is a white guy in the group, he's usually the one doing something stupid or is the butt of the joke.
To be such a small segment of society, those gay folks sure have strong representation in advertising these days because at least every other ad either features a lesbian or queer couple somewhere in the mix.
It's definitely noticable.
