Germany was the size of Oregon and attacked on three fronts. They had virtually NO natural resources beyond fisheries and pretty broads. They lasted 6 years. They performed brilliantly.

The problem hitler had is that he was rational, and he assumed others would persue their rational self interest. If Britain had done so, it would still be a major world power.
