YOU have bought the argument that it's a pure dictatorship. I am using your short hand.
As far as advantages go, every sociologist on earth agrees to the maxim that best form of government is a benign dictatorship. But those same sociologists agree to the maxim power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely - so none of them favor dictatorship, even if it is benign.
I believe that a People need a different form of government at different stages of development and in different circumstances. But we are not a People. We are a market. We have a government looking to exterminate us, and fools looking to defend it tautologically.
Is there such a thing as a benign dictatorship?
