I have not had any koolaid. I fully support Putin and duerte for example in kicking out their central banks. And my grandfather even confiscated millions of $ of property from jp Morgan and the Rockefellers out of spite. I just think you may be oversimplifying the issue. The federal reserve is not really an enemy to the us government or its people...and the powers given to it do have a plausible rationale.
I would like to see some citation for productivity going up 5% a year. That is not what I remember at all. It has been quite flat the past 20 years or so according to my own studies.
I keep using 1963, because that's where I started this argument and I like to dance with the one what brung me.
But let me say this about your 20 year claim. Something happened about 20 years ago that you may or may not have noticed.
Al Gore invented a little thing called the internet.
To say that worker productivity went up because of the internet is sort of like arguing that homo sapiens' capture of fire was an advancement for the species. I find it utterly staggering that an otherwise sensible person could be so blinded by his passions that he would make the incredibly weak argument that productivity has gone down in the age of the internet.
