He had a 100 percent rating with the National Rifle Association and the Gun Owners of America over his four terms in Congress.
Like many people, after Sandy Hook he changed some of his views.
He's not advocating confiscating anyone's guns.
Like many people in this country he is against military-styled high-caliber semi-automatic combat assault rifles with high capacity magazines, and he is for universal background checks.
