My parents were both Republicans, but the Eisenhower kind. If my mother had caught me watching some kind of hateful propaganda that constantly bashes public schools, civic responsibility, minorities, women, labor, traditional religious liberty, and vaccinations she’d have bashed in my brains with a stove poker. I would have not survived to see the sun rise another day.
I think an entire generation was permissibly raised to think that “me” is the most important being in the universe.
Otherwise how do you explain people dying rather than getting a free vaccine?
Lucky for this nation we no longer depend on a draft.
