Susan Collins kept talking about Kavanaugh deserving due process in her speech today.
The Senate confirmation process is not the same as the legal process.
It's a job interview, not a trial.

Judicial nominees have been pulled for a lot less than what Kavanaugh did.
His persistent perjury, and his hyperpartisan political screed alone were enough to disqualify him.
