Why else would he take English classes, outdoor recreation, and legal aid away from these kids if not to punish them?

I guess you haven't seen the video that has gone viral of the DOJ lawyer arguing in court that things like soap, toothbrushes or blankets are not necessary for migrant children being detained in these hell holes.
