More to the point, it seems to me that those who buy multi-million dollar mansions at sea level can be logically presumed to NOT support the premise of ongoing and impending sea level rise panic.

Yet we have ourselves the spectackle of both Obama and gore spending many millions on residential mansions at sea level.

Now, to me, it just means that they are lying their asses off about how the sea level is fixing to rise. And that makes perfect sense - easy peasy, the cognitive dissonance dissipates and disappears.

But to you, I assume, both ongoing and impending sea level rise, and their honest certainty of same, are - well, a certainty. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Now, the query for which you have been waiting: I rationalize the cognitive dissonance between their words and actions by thinking them a couple of pants on fire liars.

How do YOU rationalize the cognitive dissonance between their words and actions? Do you think they are lying about their belief in ongoing and impending sea level rise? And if not, what motive do you assign to their purchase of multi-million dollar mansions on the shores of seas poised to engulf their spanking new digs?
