All he had to do was go on Twitter and say that when he Tweeted that on Sept. 1st he was still under the impression that Dorian might hit Alabama, but that he was wrong about that.

That would have been the end of it.

But the manchild in the WH is totally incapable of admitting that he may have been wrong about anything.
Now it's coming back to bite him in the ***.

P.S. This is what the spaghetti map looked like the day before he Tweeted that Alabama would be hit by the storm.

I guess he was too busy golfing and rage Tweeting to check out the most recent version instead of relying on one that was 4 days old.
