His Tweet on September 1st that said that Alabama was going to get hit by the storm was based on this 4 day old map.



That is what is called a ''spaghetti plot' and meteorologists generally prefer that people don't turn to these charts for information about coming storms since they can be confusing to look at and don't necessarily convey information that's useful to those bracing for a hurricane.

Which means that he was too busy playing golf and rage Tweeting all weekend to bother to look at any any updated maps.
