I had a real kinetic energy question for you.

I watched a video on the Bradley Fighting Machine.  The narrator the gun on it was so powerful it could go thru a APC or a tank and the kinetic energy would still let the round go thru another one.  I am not scientist but that does not sound right.  Because once the projectile hits something the type of energy that is pushing i has to turn into another type of energy.
