Admission is the first step to recovery. A brain taught to mind cradle to grave doesn't want to believe life is self evident. Denial isn't a disease, it is a choice used constantly since picking a role to play after birth.

Intellectual rebirth of believing anything else is possible except understanding the specificity of being one of a kind replacements here now.
