Twenty nine years ago (tomorrow) I married the love of my life in the living room of a Justice of the Peace.
We went home to my apartment, where we fed each other cake that was left over from the party my co-workers had thrown for me and we danced in my kitchen to this song.
It was the happiest day of my life.
I love him even more now than I did on that day.

Less than a year later my Mother passed away.
My husband knew that the holidays were very hard for me that year so he got tickets to see Michael Bolton (who I was obsessed with back then) at Madison Square Garden on New Years Eve, and I got to see him perform that same song.
