The Jews had nothing to do with it's implementation and only want to keep the practice as a matter of convenience. There are probably just as many people that want to keep it as don't as well, and they certainly aren't all Joos.
My point about the farmers is that they prefer standard time over DST, and we're opposed to the permanent implication of the latter... because of the disruption to their schedules... which is the same argument the Joos are making.
DST started in Germany of all places, in WW1... I guess by German Joos.

The rest of Europe followed shortly, and the United States hopped on board in 1918. But even though many of us have heard the practice started to help farmers who wanted an extra hour of daylight in the fields, the opposite is actually true.
According to Michael Downing, author of Spring Forward: The Annual Madness of Daylight Saving Time, farmers actually lobbied vocally against the practice. It caused them to lose an extra hour of light in the morning, meaning they had to rush their crops to market. And for dairy farmers, the time change throws off the cows, too.

and no...I never claimed jews are the ONLY reason dst would ever be enacted. That is a trivial strawman...of course. You can be embarrassed again now because you made an absurd logical fallacy...lol...ready not turning out to be a good thread for you.
My claim is that jews are the primary (not necessarily the only) reason that the usa follows dst. If jewish interests oppose farmer interests you can be sure that jews will win...because the usa simply cares far more about jews than it cares about farmers. That is all.
